In He Puna Kawenga, we have been doing Reading activities, one of them is word art. We put words about the water cycle and what, where, and why do we need water. Here is my word art.

Water cycle
He Puna Kawenga, we have been learning about the water cycle. And we have been learning about these 4 keywords about the cycle. Evaporation means invisible air (gas) that goes up to the sky. Condensation is when the invisible air connects together and make clouds. Precipitation means when the clouds get too heavy they rain. Collection means the rain will go back in the lake or river or even the ocean.
We tried it in a bag and this is what happened. It made little droplets on the side of the bag.
This is my explanation of the water cycle

Proud moment
My proudest moment was when I got my school leader. It was just then on 12 of February afternoon, we were having the assembly of school leaders. As we went into the hall Ms O'Connor was saying that she and Miss Hulme were going to announce the school leaders. My heart was thumping. Then Ms O'Connor was saying the first names like Maddie, Lincon, Kade, Maddison, Jasmine, Iousa, Mikayla, Micheal-Bobby and Ruby. Then Miss O'Connor said " these Nga Tuakana will be the head of school", then she said "Kini and Javanah" I rushed up and I felt so happy that I thought I would cry.
So that was my proudest moment.
So that was my proudest moment.

Book character
Nicky loves open spaces and nature. Her strengths are that she is always in a good mood, as long as she is outdoors. When Nicky finishes school she would love to be an ecologist.
